Begin pre-loading L4D now!

Aslo, check out the new Steam beta client...

- Added support for upcoming L4D server groups feature
- Several localized text fixes
- Improved behavior of Steam if a game it launched crashes
- Fixed a case where the game overlay could get stuck up while in-game
- Fixed a case where the game overlay could cause a game crash after alt-tab

11/13/2008

- Added error messages for some rare but confusing cases in the install wizard
- Fixed cybercafe’s having trouble finding games in Left 4 Dead
- Improved startup time
- Fixed bug that caused the UI to NOT pop-up the achievement notification if the icon image happened to already be in the cache
- Fixed losing mouse input to the menu in Sacred 2 after using the game overlay

11/13/2008

- Fixed memory leak in the HTML control
- Fixed the in-game overlay to work in Vista when playing Fallout 3

Seems the improved startup time has been getting positive responses.

Supposedly defrag works as it should now, so you don't need to use Hllib.

This beta client went final...there's a new beta today with Games for Windows integration of some sort.
