Tonight.. (http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=EventDetail.FightCard&eid=1645)

I say Couture by submission. If Lesnar can keep him away from his scrawny legs and pound Couture/keep in grounded, he might surprise us.

Edit: The old WWE mark in me is hoping for Lesnar to pull this out. The guy is just an amazing athlete, but he doesn't have nearly the experience in this sport to win the championship this soon. NCAA Wrestling Champion does NOT equal MMA experience.

Couture in a dismantling. IF Lesnar pulls it off, time for my old pal Randy to retire I think....

Wow... I'm surprised at the outcome of this one. Usually experience wins over size, but not this time.

All the fights were pretty good tonight though.

And to talk about what I said earlier... I hate Lesnar... but I hate Couture more because of his UFC contract BS that screwed a lot of people out of a shot.

It is my prediction that 'Nog' beats Mir at 93 and goes onto to submit Lesner although he gets his arse handed to him during the fight. I think he'll submit him like he did Silvia (I think it was Silvia.) Draw him into his guard and get him in an arm-bar or some such. Lesner's inexperience will get him drawn into Nog's trap. Just my opinion mind you....

Yeah... my only problem is Nog is getting so old... he is still great but you never know when his time is completely up... I really hope it isn't during this fight.

If Lesnar gets good sub defense he is going to be champ a while.

Also if he learns BJJ well he's going to be a lot more dangerous too.

I would not want to deal with a guy that is that big and powerful as well as fast.

He's 1 year older than Lesnar...

True, but it isn't the same because Nog has been smashed up pretty good in a lot of his fights, not to mention him being run over as a kid... I just feel like his body has seen so much wear... but like I said, I HOPE he is still the Big Nog I love watching for a long time.

His face looks smashed up but thats it, his chin is solid and can take a beating, if you watched his fights with fedor you'd know what i mean. His boxing has been improving a lot in the last year or two, plus his bjj has been up there for a long time. To doubt him would be crazy.

Herring pretty much won their last fight (only one in the UFC)... Nog was out with that kick, but the ref let Nog recover which amazed me then... and I WANTED Nog to win lol. Just like last night... they let Couture take such a beating there at the end I was amazed, but I guess better to let it go longer so there isn't controversy over an "early stoppage".

Are there any other big MMA fights any time soon?

ATOJAR

There's UFC 92, Griffin vs Evans .. a title fight but it also has a great fight card beforehand, Antonio Nogueira Vs Frank Mir & Wanderlei Silva Vs Quinton Jackson are to name the more well known fighters, should be good fights.

Then there's UFC 93, Rich Franklin Vs Dan Henderson with Mark Coleman's comeback on the fight card(he was the UFC's very first heavyweight champion back in UFC 11 i think)hes fighting Mauricio Rua.

Anything outside of UFC though?
