Unable to remove group in Messenger

I wanted to make a category, but instead I made a group, I wanted to remove the group, but it told me I'm unable to remove it

Messenger 9 beta

Is there a way anyway?

I did the same thing. I used Pidgin to delete it I think.

Pidgin doesn't show the groups I made in Messenger 9, only the category (in 8.5 they were indeed called groups, now u have groups and category, so the old group name is changed to category and new group system is added, complicated I know)
