Hi,
Does anyone know of drum machine software that will allow you to put in the style then have it play the beat at a specfic tempo? I don't mean something I have to program every beat into, just something i can select a style and tempo then have it go. I have band in a box but it has horrible rock drums on it. Thanks!

for the money, toontrack's ezdrummer is amazing. I have it with the drumkit from hell EZX expansion kit and I LOVE it.
I use sony's acid pro 7 to arrange the drum tracks and record instruments.
These are my latest 2 I'm working on.

DFH is very good as said above. I have only used it with Steinberg Nuendo though.. The same can be said for BFD (Big Fing Drums).
If you want something a bit more basic, you can try fruityloops. It's easy to use and stand alone...

Fruity Loops is more basic than those... :headexplode:
I've been messing around with FL Studio for a while and it has so much to it that I only know how to do the simplest of things.
