This question might be a tad cliche, but what is your favorite game of all time?
It can a game of any platform, any era.

Mine would have to be FF7.

I'd have to say FF7 as well. I don't think there is any other game that I've been so obsessed about than that game. Great storyline, great characters, awesome art style (back in the PS1 days), AMAZING soundtrack . . . just an amazing game.

Metal Gear Solid probably

My most played game ever was Metal of Honor Allied Assault MP. Lots of fun but it had plenty of faults.

This is a tricky one. Sam and Max, they were good times. ::wonder::

Here is my post from the last time a "favorite games" thread was posted:

:p

Its hard to pick just one though...

I'm leaning toward Shadowrun for the Genesis because I've played through at least half of it once or twice a year for the past 13 years. It isn't a perfect game and there are newer games that are more polished or more memorable, but it still sticks out as the one single player game I've played the most.

I liked your comments on Deus Ex.

yep no kidding.

usually the game that i am playing currently is my favorite. If i finish a game, means it was enjoyable. Different games offer different enjoyment though.
Far Cry 2 may be the first game that i finish that i am not crazy about.

I saw Far Cry 2 at a friends place, game play looked very boring. A shame really as it has a nice look to it and carry the far cry name.

Other then Farcry 2, all games listed here are very good.

I'd like to add Fallout 1,2 and Tactics to the list as well. Fallout 3 may stand in the corner as it doesn't measure up

I can't answer to this question because there is a difference how I play-feel-etc for each gender. Take for example AOE2 which had one of the best 2vs2 battles over LAN. So did RA2. But I had loads of fun playing half-life, delta force and metal of honour as well.

Single player is different and maybe more straight forward. Maybe HL2 because I actually finished it (LOL!). But I enjoyed some games more than other even if I didn't play the game to its end.

And I would always think of an old game I still play higher than recent ones. It's not that it's better but because I still play it from time to time, think of it as a better game. Anyway, I always think of it as a list of games and not just one.

Strategy MP: RA2, AOE2
Strategy SP: Civilization
FPS MP: HL,CSS, Delta Force
FPS SP: HL 2
Action RPG: TQ
RPG: Oblivion

Maybe those are 1/3 or 1/4 of what I played in total. :D

Gotta say FFVII as well. When I first saw that game at my brother-in-law's place, I was hooked. I badgered my mom to buy me a Ps1. Good times!

When I got a good or atleast capable gaming PC back in the early 2000's, I was zombified by Civ 1, Civ 2 and Diablo 2. Man, it didn't matter if I was nodding off while at work. Sleep was just a luxury for me when I got my hands on those games.
