those overheating problems where mostly around the launch.
just remember that SSC is already overclocked, you might have to drop clocks on it, all depends how well your case is cooled ;)

its only a 600w and has one 6 pin PCI-x

really not familiar with JEantech, all depends on the quality of the rails.

you will have to get a better PSU probably.

GT280 needs one 6pin and one 8pin

don't use 6pin to 8pin adapters.
