ehh, dude, their numbers are all over the place... Are you trying to ask if gainward is the best mfg of vidcards for oc purposes? Well, my answer is dang near a "yes"... cuz I'll put chaintech in that group too... Oh, and XFX, and Albatron...

See, maybe the gainward GF3ti200 OC'ed better than any other GF3ti200, but maybe their ti500 was the worst OC'er... then it's 128mb golden sample whipped everyone's butts, but it's initial offering of the GF4ti4200 didn't do too well, then it's A3 stepping put it back on top... and so on and so forth...

chevyman, what card are you referring to??

I believe that those clocks are the stock for the gf3 ti200 golden sample 64MB, which I own. I have mine at 220/520 rock stable right now, and I've heard people getting 250/575+ out of theirs.

My GF4 ti4400 does 300/702 nice and stable, Gainward golden sample, collecting dust on me shelf. :)

surprisingly my Gainward TI4400 Golden Sample does not overclock as nicely as yours. I really can't go much beyond 300/600 safely. What's your card's memory rating at?

My ASUS V8440-TD does 315/633MHz, if i use Riva Turner mine does 315/650MHz but it uses lower memory timings automaticly so it sucks.

Gainward 4800Se => 340/685
Gainward GF4 4400MX => 405 / 690
