Hi. Specs are in sig; running 180.48. I've got two monitors, one at 1680x1050 and the other at 1280x1024, monitor 1 and monitor 2 respectively. They aren't cloned, but I have a stretched desktop.

How do I send a full-screen application to monitor two and still do stuff on the first? Like, I open up Firefox, go to Hulu, get the show on, and move it over to screen two by dragging it over. Then I click full-screen and it blows up full-screen on the second monitor, exactly what I want. However, as soon as I click something on my main monitor (which doesn't have the movie playing), it resizes itself back down to regular size on the secondary monitor.

Oddly enough, another Firefox application tab in the taskbar opens, called "Adobe Flash Player" and is in focus (on my main monitor...which has the taskbar). As soon as I click something on my main monitor, it disappears (as does the full-screen movie) on the other monitor.

This program does it and a whole lot more. It is awesome. You can set either monitor to primary and you can make application shortcuts which launch the app/game on the monitor you want.

Thanks. Well, it has the same issue. It sends the application over just fine, but a mouse click "registers" on both monitors, thus exiting the full-screen-"ness"...I disabled menu commands and dragging of maximized windows, but they didn't seem to do anything.

All flash players do this and according to this > http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-436 they can't do anything about it because it's a security requirement.

You may use the Actual Multiple Monitors. There is the function "ignore deactivation" to solve your problem.

Thanks! I've moved onto another system, but that's exactly what I was looking for. :D
