I know this probably isn't exactly where this should go.... but in most games will I be able to see an improvement by using my 7800 GTX 512mb as a physx card when i get my new GTX 260?

How exactly would I go about setting that up?

I think physx is only for 8 series and up. also that feature is not in yet as far as I know (using second card as dedicated physx).

Using a second NVIDIA card as a dedicated PhysX GPU has been functional for a while now. Only with the 180.xx drivers have integrated PhysX options into the driver control panel, where previously, you had to use the separate PhysX control panel.

Also, you are correct that PhysX support is only available on 8400 and up. A 7800 won't work.

damn, that's dissapointing... i'll be looking to trade my 7800 then i think for an 86xx or 88x series something.... Technically it's faster but i understand after reading it now about the whole cuda thing and how physx is implimented.... impossible on the 7xxx series the way tehy're doing it now
