Damn, I would have bought them if I would have known they were going for that cheap.

Wow... looks like it's end of Midway Games?

That's actually too bad because Midway has made great games in the 80s and 90s. They have been pretty crappy after that.

I remember playing NFL Blitz on my Voodoo graphics equipped pc in Glide mode running at 60fps. First time I saw an arcade game running so smoothly on the pc. And San Franciso Rush, which was never released for the PC, even though it ran on Voodoo Obsidian boards in the arcades, was a fun series. N64 version had too much blur.

Same here, except I was running it on a Voodoo Banshee. The game was fun when the AI wasn't being a bunch of cheap ****sticks.

Actually it did came on PC in 1998, as part of bundle with 3DFX Voodoo Bashee card from Quantum3D.

"If you ever want to get San Francisco Rush: Alcatraz edition on your PC you will have to buy the new Quantum Raven 2D/3D card based on the 3DFX Voodoo Banshee chipset. So the game does exist on the PC but has code to limit it to run on this card (not that it couldn't run on other 3D hardware)."

Also you can play Rush series from Midway Arcade Treasure 3.

Actually two of the four 3D ones were pretty dam good... but they were console only so you probably never played them.

Deadly Alliance and Deception, Armageddon wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special... it just took what worked already and tweaked it.

Mind you I said good, not great. These in no way compared to Virtua Fighter 4 or Tekken 5.

i remember Deception, probably the one that i like the most out of those three, remember it because of Zombie Liu Kang.

Even still none of those games live up to the original 2d games.

Meh, The 2D games were good but they lacked alot of depth. Combo's were very few and it mainly came down to super moves all the time. It was no SF2Turbo...
