That is truly despicable and reprehensible!

I HATE bad parents, I truly do! I know I got some areas I can improve on in the parenting department, but people who don't even try piss me off!!!

It's too important, how the hell can they screw around like that?!?!

All us parents need improvement when dealing with our children. :(

She should be locked up for good. What a ****ing idiot! You can never trust that woman again with that child.

Total loser!

This is even more sickening:Surveillance camera footage showed that the woman placed her daughter in one washer, then removed her and placed her in a second front-loading washer, which turned on when she closed the door, Stone said.

"I don't believe what the camera says," the girl's grandmother, Mary Osborne, told KCBS-TV

Friends and neighbors expressed shock and disbelief.

"She wouldn't do anything like that. That's not Erma," neighbor John Herring told the TV station. "She's a nice, loving mother who takes care of her kids."

Who did it then, an alien doppleganger?

I seriously doubt you would do something as ridiculous as that m8...

but what she did... she definitely needs a few years of councilling with a child care therapist (even though the therapists are cuckoo half the time themselves...)

A therapist isn't going to help a woman like that. If a child is fussing and crying constantly for 3 hours and finally the woman snaps and strikes the child... that is the kind of person who could benefit from councilling and child care assistance. To have the calm of mind to load a child into a washing machine and operate it - twice - that is just sadism. The woman needs to be institutionalised.

The sad thing is stuff like this goes on all the time. Like that women who repeatedly punched her daughter after strapping her in a car seat. Or the woman who left her two child strapped in a car and rolled in into a river. Or the women who poison their children and then act all concerned because they love the attention they get when they have a sick child. Notice a trend here? Its almost always women who do this sick stuff and they acuse us men of being the most violent of the sexes!? If a guy hits his kid its usually because he jas been under a load of stress and looses his temper, its an unconscious act of emotional outburst. Women, on the other hand, consciously and calmly do cold, calculated, evil crap to their children.

Officers were called to Lucy's Laundromat at 5:25 p.m. on Saturday after frantic efforts by the girl's mother and bystanders to unlock the door failed of the washer with a baton to rescue the girl, who was submerged in water.

...

Surveillance camera footage showed that the woman placed her daughter in one washer, then removed her and placed her in a second front-loading washer, which turned on when she closed the door, Stone said.

Granted she should not have put her child in the machines, but I'm still trying to figure out if she did this intentionally. From the first part of the quote, it's said that she and bystanders tried to open the door. The second part says that the machine started after she closed the door.

Again, she should not have been putting the child in the machine, but I don't think she did this intentionally.

arghhhh.....i am so pissed with abusers that i need to say this...

i dunno how it is in US, but here if u kill in rage u get 10-12 years, but when somebody INTENTIONALLY abuses child for LONG period of time...he get 2,3, maybe few more years.....

killing is bad and needs to be sanctioned, specially if u plan it, but if u kill in rage, it's something you will prolly be sorry for the reast of your life....and u will spend alot of thet life in prison....BUT when you abuse child in ways that are non imaginable for normal human being, when u plan that, when you execute that for long period of time doing EVERLASTING damage to human being that is yet developing...you get off easy?????????
man....i dun have kids yet, but if anyone does that to my kids ever, no judge, no jury will save him.......

out here in the desert we have all sorts of whackos out in the middle of nowhere doing what they want to innocent kids. Like those stories of kids chained to beds for years or kept inside closets or used as slaves and such.

One such incident that comes to mind involved 3 kids that were discovered chained and mal-nutritioned. One kid was in his late teens and looked like a 10 year old. His siblings weren't in any better condition. Upon further inspection investigators found a shallow grave a short distance from the "home" in question, it was their baby brother.

The "father" took the easy way out and killed himself in jail, the other bitch is in prison for life.

Really gets you angry to think what these types do to their children, hell, these people don't even deserve to breed, let alone live:|

Of course the children are mentally, emotionally, and probably physically destroyed for life, yet the perpetrators of these atrocities get to live in the lap of luxury courtesy of tax payer funds.

LOL! no no I wasn't talking abou this by no means. LOL! I mean when we as parents get mad and over react in situations that were not as big as we thought. That is the number one problem in parenting. Most times it's just a matter of calming down before talking to the child and make clear once what the expecte behavior is. Chilren really get scared and feel let down when a parents looses control and yells. It says to the child "I don't know what he wants and I don't know what to expect" This is the worst way to parent. It is also the hardest to avoid. :o
