anyone know how to remove/reset user password in vista?
co-worker asked me for help, she has a family PC, somehow she got locked out of the main admin account (called Owner), there is second standard user account, but that doesn't let you do anything.
anyone?

Ultimate Boot CD
It has Active@ Password changer. It worked on NT, 2000, XP and Vista. Can reset password for any user. Very handy.
Active@ also do their own boot CD also I believe.

thanks will try that, i found some "ophcrack-vista-livecd-2.1.0"
will be doing few test ;)
Ophcrack isn't bad. I've used it before with success. UBCD, like Crainger mentioned, hits the spot as well.

to late for that, you have to do password recovery disc before you loose/forget the password ;)

Make your cd , then browse for the app, i can't remember which one but it is in there as i have used many times.
dont use the password reset, on boot options , boot right into the ultimate boot cd. its there, i promise
