Ultra-High resolution video playback ?

I am installing a videowall with 4 projectors, and a display area of 4640x1050 pixels. Ideally, I would like to have video rendered at full resolution, and played back on a PC with a single graphics card (another box takes card of presenting the virtual single desktop to the PC). Looking at rednering the video, most codecs max out at HD resolution. Are there codecs in the PureVideo software that will use hardware acceleration for movie playback at higher than HD resolutions ? Any pixel size limitations ? I know the OpenGL hardware limits are now 8Kx8K, but was wondering if there are pixel size limitations in the Nvidia video codecs...
