Hello everyone,
Just got Farcry 2 today from EVGA, ran the bench. Just curious of how this compares to most with my out dated CPU.

Yes Sir, as listed in Sig. Not bad for 4 years old.
Here is at 3.32 Ghz

 She has been a good one for sure. More than playable at 2048x1536 AAx4 Ultra High Settings.
Must say, the graphics in FC2 are very nice, but early in the game, I am getting really tired of just driving around doing little side jobs. Kind of boring to be honest.

That's the entire experience IMO...and they're all nearly identical by type too.

I think your benchmark is faster than a lot of the ones I've seen. :)
Kind of funny though that you have 2 GTX 280's and still have a 939 based system.

Well, to be honest, it has been a very good platform. Plus with phase cooling, I run my cpu at 3.4Ghz. The graphics upgrade made a huge difference in games I play. Another reason is I wanted to skip Conroe and wait for i7 to show up to get Intel and SLI together nicely. Waiting now to see what the results will be from the X58 boards that include the NF200 chipset as well as the i7 revison. Until then, she(fx-60) is plugging along just nicely as I collect a few things for the next build. GTX 280's being part of it.
Take care man
Monnie
Can you run the benchmark @ 1920x1200, ultra, 4xAA and post the results? :)

DHP,
That run was at 2048x1536. I get the same result +- 1-2 frames at 800x600. I am very CPU limited. If you were to create a chart starting with 640x480 all the way to 2048x1536, on my system it would be a straight line. Also, my CRT is not widescreen. Good ole' 4:3 :D
