I'm quite p!ssed of at them to be honest. They have taken a good team -BAR of 400 people, doubled the number of empoyees, made the car rubbish and removed all the sponsorship from the car. Clearly that wasn't sustainable.
Maybe if they had run a more lean outfit from the beginning they could of saved for a rainy day. Its completly irresponsible.
Someone has to buy this team. The facilities they have must be immense. Not to mention they have already virtually built the 2009 car.
Come on David Richards! Buy it back!

Maybe. Its a whole lot cheaper!
Wouldn't be surprised if Toyota leave F1 soon also.
Theres no US GP anymore and I think this hurts Toyota and Honda especially.
However, as long as someone else takes over the teams then it will be no bad thing. These Japanese teams cannot for any amount of money develop a great F1 car. I think the whole Japanese mentallity regarding management structure really hinders the progress of development in F1.

Don't be pissed at Honda for quitting. They quit because Bernie wanted spec engines. Honda wanted competition (whether they win or not), they now have spec engines. Honda has no need to spend money on engines designed by Ferrari or McLaren.
Be pissed at the Bernster.
and I too believe Toyota will quit, with the amount of money they spend.

Firstly, Its not Berny who wants spec engines. Its Max Mosley.
Thats not the reason Honda quit. It may be an additional factor, but the spec engine thing hasn't been decided for sure yet. Ferrari want to quit over it so I still doubt it will happen (at least in its current guise).

I think the latest F1 idea is that all cars that are not painted red with a pony on them must run on flat tyres.

HTF would absence of the US GP influence those two teams? :headexplode:
