View Full Version : Dell Outlet Monitors

Has anyone here ever purchased a monitor from the Dell Outlet?
I am planning on buying a 3007wfp-HC from them. At $899 for a 30in monitor it seems almost too good to be true.
I just want to get a sense of how good/bad the service, monitor condition, exchange policies are and what your experiences have been.

outlet monitors could be monitors people returned with bad pixels, just something to think about.

check the return policy ;)

Well they have the same 21day return policy and limited warranty. If I am able to do the same thing I did with my 2005fpw return the ones I didn't like until I found a perfect one, then I would be happy. But I am concerned that I'll be getting some duds. They're running a 10% off deal on their Outlet monitors so instead of 975 after taxes, it'll be 876 after taxes, considering that price for a high gamut 30in monitor I am seriously thinking of taking the plunge!

I've ordered the monitor, $876 shipped for a 30" monitor and a 21 day return period, I could not pass it up. I'll let you know how it goes. They shipped it already, so it looks like I will have it by Tuesday.

Where did you find the 10% off? I can't seem to find it.

Got the code on XPbargains, but it expired yesterday...

Received my 3007wfp-hc just yesterday. So far I am amazed! No dead Pixels, no backlight bleed at all, a perfect panel!

So far I am ecstatic and will write up a review once I get a new calibration package and some quality time with the panel.

Wish I had one, and the horse power to run it. ::o:

I am pleasantly surprised at how well games scale at non-native resolutions, and actually lots of my games run great at native, CSS, HL2, etc run amazing by just turning down AA to 2x instead of 4x...

On a different note, I just bought a Spyder3 Pro to calibrate the monitor and now it looks amazing!

More on it as soon as I go on vacation

Just a heads up, 30in monitors at the Dell outlet are now $749 before tax and shipping. Great price for one of these monsters! I would be pissed at this new price if I hadn't gotten 10% off and such a perfect panel.
