I saw on TV ESPN news last night, but I didn't stay to watch the report that Cowher may return, but to which teams. Some of the possibilities may surprise us, ESPN said.

Did anyone watch the report last night? I want to know which teams may have Cowher as a head coach?

I tried Googling. It seems like Browns have already offered Cowher? There are other teams that were mentioned, but it didn't seem like it.

It'd be nice to have Cowher on Eagles. :afro: So that the @$$wipe McNabb can stop smiling or laughing at his mistakes. *puts on spitting shield mask*

If Cowher ends up in Cleveland, I will vomit.

There's no chance of him coming to Green Bay but cripes... we need a new coach :(

I'm not surprised at all by this. I'd like to see him end up in Oakland and turn things around there, but as long as that crotchety old bastard is running things I think that's impossible.

Yeah, as long as Al Davis continues to stick his nose in there instead of letting the coach do his job it's likely going to be a rough job for anyone.

Don't you EVER say anything bad about my Browns. We are just hitting a drought....that has lasted for 72 years.

:fu:

EDIT: I just seen your location. We are cool and all, but as for sports, we are mortal enemies.

Yeah, Oakland really needs a turnaround. They got great quarterback, don't they? I mean it's the team that really needs something explosive along with the quarterback they have right now, right?

Cowher would be a great fit in Oakland. Problem is Davis. He's never been one to pay coaches very well, or let them have the freedom they want, and Cowher is a top dollar coach whos going to want the power to choose his own staff, etc. I still think it would be a good fit. Cowher seems like the type that would tell Davis "you want to win? Then leave me the **** alone..." ;)

As far as the QB Russell goes, I think this dude might be a bust. I will say he throws the ball harder then ANYONE I've ever seen and I've been watching this stuff for 30+ years. But he hangs onto the ball way too long and stares down one receiver. maybe he just needs the right coach. I still think Quinn is the gem of the QB's in the draft.

I seriously doubt that Cowher is going to Oakland. He would probably kill Davis before the year was out.

Cowher is a good coach. He will go to a team that will give him total control to build a champion team. Whatever team he goes to, he will first establish this fact.

Cowher is too good of a coach to end up in Cleveland.

/just saying

Yea I really doubt he will end up in Oakland. Nobody wants to go there, not even players. They got a inmate running the asylum. The Steelers and Raiders always mirrored eachother. Cowher would fit.

It would make more sense for him to go back to his old division and topple the team he built. Cleveland seems more like a Cowher type team then Cinci. With the opportunity to coach a kid like Quinn? Sheeeeeeeit! :)

I know. I'm surprised that Cleveland did something right for a change. I just hope that the next coach will build a team around him.
