Usually $30 it's on sale for $10.
It's not a Monster cable, but seems like a decent quality cable for the price.

I ordered 3 to replace my cheap HDMI cable for the PS3 and one as a gift for my friend who has an X-Box 360 and is using RCA and one for my other player.
Yep, HDMI cables are really bloody cheap to make. I found out that one of the hardware stores in Canada (RONA) usually has them in stock for that price.

HDMI = Digital Therefore No real reason to spend much at all really, except to get a decent connector that wont slip out, though that's more of a problem with Optical.
I agree with teh LORD. monoprice seems the cheapest place.

Monster Cables aren't always a bad investment - especially if you use a ceiling-mounted projector. I'm using a 2€(retails for 20€) 5m hdmi cable and can't get a perfect picture when using 1080p @ 60 Hz(I get some weird lines across the screen).

Hmm...this is the first time I've heard that. Sounds reasonable at first, then I saw this one though.

At the tail end of that, they talk about monster suing Disney, among a whole other slew of companies, for using the word "monster" anywhere, as if they completely own the word now. Even if Monster is a small company (not saying they are or aren't) there are many cases where the little guy does try to extort the big guy for money, and based on that newscast this seems like one of them.
They are even cheaper on eBay. I got two 6' cables shipped for under $12. They work perfect.

Holy crap that is just ridiculous - the word monster has existed for thousands of years and now monster cable owns the rights to it? Hope they loose all of their lawsuits and go out of business... :thumbdwn:

Whoever is behind all those numerous lawsuits @ Monster cable is a ****. The guy in the video is a **** as well.
I would never buy their overpriced crap in the first place, but after all this non sense I would do without rather than buy as much as an ink pen form them.

Maybe they are. Did you see their crummy office? ::rofl:
No seriously, people need jobs. Monster however need to cool it and reign in their legal team.
A sales guy at Best Buy tried to tell me that if I didn't buy Monster Cables, and only bought a generic HDMI cable, my tv would not output at 1080p, nor would I get the 120hz benefit from my set. I simply asked him, "Are you really that stupid, or are you just a shill? And, if you're just a shill, do people actually fall for that bull****?"

I bought a couple 6 foot HDMI 1.3a certified cables from Mono Price and it was around $15 with shipping. I ordered them on a Friday night and they arrived at my house Monday morning. I will buy from them again.
Here are the cables I bought http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240&cs_id=1024008&p_id=3992&seq=1&format=2
