Wrong Track Info

This is really bugging me, i use the media player 11 to rip cd's to the library but for a strange reason, its reporting the wrong track info.

like Monsters of Rock, it says their 18 tracks on the cd but windows media player is reporting the wrong music tracks like Seventeen by Winger, it shows that track but when i play it, its playing Final Countdown by Europe.

In other media players like Rhapsody or Winamp, their the right tracks.

This is very comfusing cuz i use a Zune 120 with marketplace which is media player and when i rip cd's to the drive to port to the zune, its the wrong music.

Has anyone had this strange issue?

It doesn't do it with all cd's but certain ones.

That will happen Bigman. If the program wont let you choose another possible match man up and do it by hand.

Tag&Rename great program to manage music, and download info.

rip the tracks then use Mp3tag to re-tag all of the files

works great. it will retrieve all track info for you.

I use those before and their great but i had to rip through Rhapsody and find the album with zune marketplace.

Its windows media player's fault or an issue with it as to why it can't collect the right info.

What about album art too?

Now that is ok what is good for collecting album art info and applying it to the folder of the msuic is contained in?

I thought My Movies did this but not sure.

my zune software automatically finds the art, pretty cool :D

Bad thing is Zune software works fine now but i have to do the same with other apps like Media Player 11 and even Rhapsody and i want something thats puts the thumbnail view info or art into the folders themselves like My movies does with video.

The Mptag thing works real good.

Only thing i don't get is if you have 50 songs labeled as top 50 of 08, it shows them inside of media player but 50 folders with top 50 instead of just one album with the songs in it so how is that caused and how can it be fixed?
