so corny IMO stuff like "Republic of Gamers" for Asus and having "Classified" written on this one. Its supposed to work well, not have fancy pictures/names. Let the performance speak for itself. I understand about visual appeal, but still.......

Do any current PSU's support dual ATX12V 8pin power Connectors?

Sure but I don't associate quality with foxconn the way I do with evga. :o

I believe foxconn was the manufacturer who built all the 680i reference boards (including evga) and probably almost every other nVidia board out there. You know that little black plastic cover over the processor socket that you have to pull off? On it, it probably says foxconn :p

Customer service though? You are right on with your statement! EVGA is second to none there.

And this board is like a lot of the other x58 boards I've seen, they all scream excessive. I want something practical and a lot cheaper.

Would be a real sweet board if they would drop the IDE port and add a couple or four more Sata ports.

The board already has like 10 sata ports - isn't that enough? I'd much rather see a hardware RAID controller though(the on board ones usually suck).

So is it worth moving from the standard EVGA X58 to this one jakup?

... there's a picture of it available on the web so we know you have one already :bleh:
