One HUGE thing I am noticing is that transfer speeds are SLOW sometimes, and sometimes don't respond at all. I have had this happen on multiple USB drives to me. Not sure what to think...
+1 Though I have not had any times where there was no response.
Anyone know how to connect to other PCs (WinXP) on your network? I can connect to the network, but neither PC sees each other.
Somebody mentioned that networking is very easy in W7. I have not figured anything out tbh. If there is not such a thing, then why could not the network just show you everything there is to see; or just the <username>folder? Sounds simple enough...

Vista does the exact same thing when sharing with XP :P

In a windows explorer bar, type \\192.168.x.x - the IP of your other machine from XP, it will then see all your shared folders.

I see... but that is still retarded. :(

And right now I'm trying to erase a DVD-RW but this is what I get:

Well it is pre-release software, it won't be perfect...

Just what JasonPC said it is still a beta software don't use it as primary OS.

I just hope they fix the transfer conflicts. I would hate for them to go through that again.

Oh yeah, of course.

I do... though now I'm on XP.

I would really stay with XP if it did not rearrange all the views in all the folders every-so-often.
and if it had a few other creature comforts... but it's awwright.

Yeah, right. It's simple alright, I can connect to my network EASY, but seeing the files, and stuff...it just doesn't

Not bad at all.

I like some of the theme options with Wpers.

I did move some stuff over to Vista from 7 like sounds and paper and looks good in Vista too.

Not crazy about the oversized taskbar but can do if .

Mostly like Nekro says Vista second edition.

nice though.

Installing Crysis slows everything right down... installing anything does.

any word on release notes?

nekrosoft13

usually there never are any release notes.

in 7032 there is a new icon for homegroup and two new themes.

sooner or later you will have to, it is never wise to install beta OS on primary system. by the time OS goes final you will have to reinstall few times.

Thats funny, I was thinking the same about you, rarely making two sentences in 29,000 posts. :afro2:
