View Full Version : Windows 7 does not see 2nd HD

Clean W7 install onto a clean HD. I have 2 HDs and the HD with XP on (2nd) is not seen in W7 from Computer but it recognized in the Device Manager.

Is it possible to make it visible or access it in any way from W7?

I've got multiple drives all with different OSes on them. Mine doesn't have any issues seeing them all. (w7 x86, w7 x64, xp s86)

Go to Disk Management ( Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management)

My guess is you have to format it or assign it a drive letter.

Yup, I had the same issue, assign it a drive letter and your good to go.
