Whats up with Vista? when I install some drivers such as my X-fi driver after the install a message pops up saying that the driver may not of installed properly and do I need help? I just click on 'the driver installed correctly' and from the outside it looks fine as I have sound and no problems but what I want to know is why is it doing this?
Every release of the x-fi driver has done this, and also the nforce 680i drivers do it. But the Forceware drivers don't!
I have to admit I have never really had much faith in Vista and it reminds me of the days when I attempted to install Windows ME, bad mistake!! which I quickly installed Windows 2000, which was fantastic much like my Windows XP experience.
I really tempted to give up my Direct X 10 experience and load XP back on until Windows 7 comes out, hopefully MS get it right with that?
