Hello,

My /proc/driver/nvidia/agp/card
info says

Fast Writes: Not Supported
SBA: Not Supported
AGP Rates: 4x 2x 1x
Registers: 0x1f000007:0x1f000104

So, does the nvidia driver not support 'Fast writes'
or the card? According to the manufacturer
my Gforce 3 Ti200 does support "fast writes".
Either the nvidia driver is lying or the
manufacturer of the card.

/proc/driver/nvidia/agp/host-bridge
says
Host Bridge: Intel i845
Fast Writes: Supported
SBA: Supported
AGP Rates: 4x 2x 1x
Registers: 0x1f000217:0x00000104

And what the heck is SBA? A special addressing mode
perhaps?

Thanks for answers!

FW (fast writes) and SBA (sideband-addressing) are two AGP features. Both features are frequently disabled on both Windows and Linux because of instability. Theoraticly all motherboards and videocards support it but it most of the time isn't stable.
