Anyone else not able to install anything that uses the Windows Installer?

I can't install Diskeeper, or anything that uses it.

I had the same problem, but found a solution here:

I was trying to isntall NOD32 and the Windows Installer wasn't working. The registry modification solved the problem for me.

Hope this helps someone. This stuff can be quite frustrating.

Had the same thing happen to me - my solution to the problem was to do a complete reinstall(thought some files had been corrupted due to overclocking, but I guess that was not the case as other people seem to suffer from the same issue). :headexplode:

Hmm, this is odd. I haven't had troubles installing ANYTHING thus far. If I do run into the problem though, I will report it here.
