Well, after his stocks riseing 25% it would seem more like a good week.

Id be doing a 'im getting a new Corvette Z06 dance' if i had a ton of nvidia stock.............................. but oviously i dont : (

Ok, that is just terrible business practice. Although they're pretty damn funny, they are flat out unprofessional and hence I will NEVER buy a Visiontek product. It's really just absurd.

Pretty sure he is unfazed by such antics. I am sure he is much more interested in how his company's stock is performing and the rumored new opportunities for nVidia. I feel sorry for VisionTek that they feel they must resort to such childish antics...there may be a point in time when they regret such nonsense...

Well what i hate is companies that lie to their customers while there is proof in front of them that they are wrong. Ati handled it well they did excatly cheat per say but they said they would remove the optimizations.

On the VisionTek thing, it's just advertising. No different than what goes on all the time. I thought it was really rather catchy myself.

On the cheating thing, ATI got busted on the Quake/Quack thing by (H), and all hell broke loose. NVidia gets busted here, and (H) says nothing? Interesting journalism! Dig, I followed your posts there and wanted to applaud you for your persistance. I think you posted with class, and they still never answered.

Another thing about the cheating, I still find it amazing that ATI can put out good drivers after all this time, let alone find time to find cheats!!!! But so far my 9800 has been flawless with no matter what I send at it..

Thanks, I gotta compliment [h] for the fact that they LET me post and haven't edited or deleted any of them.

It's easy to be civil on the boards, but I was getting ready to lose it in a few e-mails with Kyle. I like Kyle personally, but I just do NOT agree/accept/buy his "it's a matter of integrity" spiel and it drives me a bit bonkers to see what I think is a liar hiding behind that kind of shield. :mad:

In one evening, Kyle banned over 35 forum members, I was one of them, but didnt know it until the next day. Did you see how he was asking for donations for a new server?, some of the forum members sent him 1 dollar, or 10 cents, just trying to be funny.
Kyle posted the full names and e-mail adresses of all the people who did that publicly on his forums. I couldnt believe he did that.

You really dont realize how much nVidia own you. They are denying it for a reason. THEY KNOW they look stupid to enthusiasts such as ourselves. They know it is absurd to deny it, yet, if you weigh up ALL OF THE FACTORS, it is the smarter decision, no matter how it looks to us.

Im sure eveorn dosnet understand how hard it is to get free hardware, i mean, sure Intel may give them a 3.0cghz processor, a few 875p mainboards, nvidia sends them the line of geforce fx's includeing the new hottist ones, ati sends them their line of radeon's includeing the new hot ones.

If you only knew the [H]ardship it takes to get free hardware that you can sell on ebay for 3x the retail price.
