Has anyone else encountered a missing cursor in WoW in Windows 7?
While the cursor does not move, the mouse still registers a highlight when hovered over a button, but you cannot see or track invisible cursor icon.
Temporarily, the fix is to disable the Hardware Cursor setting, but that leads to a laggy cursor.
Any ideas?
Have you tried different video drivers?
Mine is working fine and I use ATI, so maybe that's the problem.
181.20 is working fine with Hardware Cursor on my work machine with a Q9300 and Quadro FX 3700 on XP. I'm not sure how it would relate to Win7.

Thanks for the reply - yes, I've tried both the 181 and 185 Beta; same results.
Have you tried alternating between a windowed mode and full screen? I always have WoW in windowed mode, windowed full screen at home and just a normal window at work.

Yeah, I have tried windowed mode and I believe the result was that the cursor returned. However, isn't there a visual hit, specifically with AA, if you play in a window vs. full screen?

Not on my system there isn't.
1680x1050 4xAA 16xAF in fullscreen window all fast and smooth.
