Looks good but I don't think an SSD is a very good choice right now.

Most MLC drives have horrible multitasking performance and tend to cause the system to freeze temporarily when there are a few things accessing the drive at the same time.

The G.Skill drives may be different but you should definitely look into it first.

Are you using a 42" for your primary display?

If so, get some sun glasses. You'll go blind looking web pages like that for an extended amount of time.

Another update:

May swap out the 285 for a 295
Or may just do 285 SLI

Not sure yet, still researching on what would be best for me :)

Also not going with OCZ ram, but with Corsair Dominator :D

is donkey.

But ya, I have never spent any kind of high money for RAM. It's all the same unless you're wanting to OC.

Nice... they have 22x DVD's for cheap now...

And I like that case a lot... definitely need pics for that. :afro:

Dont worry I'll be posting a very pic-heavy worklog of this build.
Idc too much about how fast the dvd writes, i dont do a lot of burning. Really i dont even need a optical drive. I may just use it when I install the OS, and that's probably it. They are noisey.

Get a Samsung 22x SATA DVD RW. As far as I know, they're the best. :)

Also, don't overspend on ram. DDR3-1333 will give you plenty of overclocking head room for an air cooled setup.

You'll be able to get well over 4Ghz if your cooling is good enough.
