My 8800GTX VS GTX285 Review

Tell you what mate, I just got a 9600gt from BFG for an RMA and my GTX 295 will be here soon.

Im running a Corsair 650W TX PSU.

Let me know... although a 8800GTX uses more power than a 9600gt. Plus I have 5 Hard Drives internal which probably take a decent amount of power :p Ya ya... im an EE who is to lazy to actually calculate his current consumption... lol.

Now that is a lot of brass air fittings http://www.liangdianup.com/subpages/airfitting_1.htm there is just about every type
of air fitting that you could want. Wholesale prices too. I guess these could be used as small water pipe fitting also. I
used some of the parts to make my babington wvo burner.

Stupid question :

Currently i have 2 8800 gtx's in SLI . Will 2 285's in SLI be about twice as fast as my current setup ?

(E8500 @ 3,8 ghz)

nice post, man. I was contemplating an upgrade to the 27x or 28x series because I just got a new 1920x1080 monitor but I think I'm just gunna wait for the 3xx or get a 28x when the price hits around $150~

nvidia is supposedly discontinuing the GTX 200s due to shortages as well as a fairly considerable failure rate among them. If you have any geforce 8s or 9s keep them until something crazy comes out.
