From what I understand using 16k or 32k will speed I/O but the drive may become more fragmented due to the extra space that's wasted. Does anybody have experience with using larger allocation units?
One thing I'd like to do is speed the performance of my FSX drive, and since most of that data is large textures I'm thinking 32k might work good for that drive. What should I use for my OS drive?
