It isn't that I hate the Steeler's team so much. It is that I hate their fans. They are the biggest group of inbred morons in sports. Seriously, every Steelers fan I've meet is this hardcore moron who thinks if you don't have your closet full of black and gold then you are not a true fan of your team. I can't blame them really. If you have ever visited Pitt then you would have to have some sort of escape from such a crap hole.

Does every Steelers fan have to be so arrogant all the time? Not just arrogant but completely ignorant of sports and even foot ball. All they know are the steelers and the fact that there are other teams in the NFL is just trivia to them.

I actually used to like the Steelers until I got to know many of their fans. They are the Hamas of the football world.

Context is important. I was following their line of thought that he was trying to shove his crotch into the camera.

Can't believe that last play wasn't even reviewed.

I know, WTF was that. Those sort of plays are SCRUTINIZED by refs during regular season games all the time.

People should boycott Heinz Ketchup in the name of justice.

It was reviewed. The people in the booth looked at it and decided that it was called correctly. /game

I will say again that every significant call and every review in that game was made correctly, including, BTW, the two that went against the Steelers.

And when did whining about refs become the national pastime anyway?

Bull.

There was no roughing the passer, which gave the Steelers a first down and the roughing the holder call was just as bogus as the defensive player was tripped.

And, no penalty for clotheslining Warner? Wasn't that sort of like roughing the passer, except with actual contact and malice? How about Harrison trying to punch out a guy whose neck he had an arm around. He didn't even get tossed for that.

When did apologizing for a terribly officiated game become the cool thing to do? Let the players play, don't decide the outcome for the teams with your whistle.

By the way, if that last play was reviewed, that was the worlds fastest ever review. I was listening to the commentators saying they felt it would surely be overturned and then all of a sudden the Steelers are taking a knee while they talk.

All of which are judgment calls that have to be made on the field without the benefit of slow-mo replays. Maybe (emphasis on the maybe) they should have gone the other way, but in no way does that constitute a "terrible" ref job. Plays like that happen in every game ever played and always will. If you don't like it I suggest you go watch tennis where the officiating is largely done by computer now.

And according to the ESPN ticker the head of officials said that the last play was reviewed in the booth and they decided it was the right call. No conspiracy to be found, no need to prolong the last five seconds of the game for a review.

No that was a normal call. You cannot touch the holder. It doesn't matter if you are tripped, blocked or pushed into him, you can't hit him. That guys was a 8 year vet, he should have known better.

Why would they have their [New York] knickers in a twist?

I thought this was about that lame punk named Ben Rothlesmethimpikehoses getting his 6 [undeserved] Superbowl ring?

Uhh no.

DD is cumfused. The Steelers team has 6 superbowl championship titles. Ben only has 2 rings, one from 2005-06 and the other from 2008-09. He's only been in the NFL for 5 years.
