I know everyone on this site will be sadden by the following news.

Here is the very sad news.

"The Sims 3" game has be delayed until June 2 09.

What a shame.

Now the big problem is i can not find the reason for the delay.Only guess i have is that EA is needing the cash or not making enough money and want to build up the game more or something. But its a very sad day. They been making this game for over three years or more
and then another delay.what could be wrong? I smell another SPORE game coming soon.

crainger is ok. I play the Sims 2 a bit, not really excited for 3 though.

Beagle however will be devastated. She took the delay till March badly, this will be the icing on the caek.

According to CEO of EA:
"In the case of The Sims 3, Riccitiello said, "We see this as being one of the most important launches in our company's history, and certainly in the upcoming fiscal year." He added that the delay was called in the interest of investing more time and effort to make the marketing campaign for the game more innovative."

You're not releasing it because you want to build a better marketing campaign? That makes no sense at all! Release it and spread the word of mouth of how great it is... anyone else mad this is the reason?

They delay the game as they have no money NICE.great thinking EA.After all its the Sims3 and everyone in their right minds have no idea what it is.They really need to market it more. What are they thinking.O wait its EA its all about the money, *Cough*Spore*Cough*

Same here lol. But SIMS? I don't care at least, but EA does; it's their money printer.
