I figured I would go ahead and post up some of the front page deals in the forums occasionally, as more often than not I come across some great deals that I think some of you would take advantage of; and I know not everyone reads the front page. Even if you dont buy, your clicks help to feed MikeC and his kids :p

First off I've noticed that Newegg has that their GTX 260 Core 216 down to $199 after rebate (http://nvnews.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=707030526/search=gtx%20260/st=product/sv=title). Even though its not the newest 55nm version, its still a great card at a great price. Especially if you're looking for two midrange cards for a sweet SLI setup.

Also they're offering a rebate on the GTX 285 (http://nvnews.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=711186055/search=gtx%20285/st=product/sv=title)that brings the price to $334, and as usual free shipping.

Also I came across the eVGA (man they love to offer rebates! no wonder they do so well) 9800 GTX+ (G92) for $139 (http://nvnews.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=65953763/search=9800%20gtx/st=product/sv=title)at Newegg, which agian is a great card on its own, or even as a secondary card for PhysX.

Feel free to add any deals you come across throughout the day, doesnt matter if they can be found through our pricegrabber or not.

Also for anyone looking for cheap, but quality secondary monitor Buy.com has their 19" Samsung SyncMaster for $109 (http://nvnews.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=90490019/search=samsung%2019)after rebate, again with free shipping. I'd like to have one of these puppies just to play around with because its so cheap!

Again, if you guys have any other deals, please post, as everyone loves stuff for cheap! I'm trying to get a feel for what the average enthusiast is in the market for whether it be monitors, graphics cards, power supplies, TV's (who doesnt love using a 52" LCD as a monitor? :afro:).

Wow that 260's super cheap! BTW the first link doesn't work, at least for me.

Thanks Revs, I'll get it fixed. I suck with double http's! It's working now. I imagine we should see some more price drops from mid range nVidia cards to keep up with the ATI's dropping prices. I'd like to see the 295's start to drop, as the 285's are already coming down.

Has anyone actually noticed any difference between the 55nm 260 216 and the original 260 216s? I have a couple of friends with the 55nm ones and I personally haven't seen any difference at all in comparison to mine.

$199 is a sweet price, could be time to go tri-SLI :captnkill:

There may be a slight performance improvement, but the majority of the improvements comes from the lower operating temps and less power consumption. Its probably a better base for OC'ing.
