p5b-d Pencil mod questions

Running q6700 @ 3.6 but with lots of vdroop so thinking of doing pencil mod.

2b pencil is better as is less loose than a higher b pencil and wont blow off so quickly?

Can I put some silicone gaulk on there to keep the graphite fresh or will it migrate into the silicone?

edit: k so it doesnt "fall off" but the charge degrades the structure of the graphite, I see.

Ive tried a couple of time but with fail, I keep getting zero vdroop which is bad

The cpu load temp is 8 degree's lower though ,Even with warmer ambient temp.

Could be because the case is on its side but still good.

K heres another question,

Just HOW dangerous is no vdroop?

I don't get it. At first, you said there was vdroop and now zero vdroop? Why do you think zero vdroop is bad?

AFAIK a little vdroop helps protect against cpu explode.

After about 10 redo's my ripple has gone from 0.06 to 0.02 ,Which is good I think.
