Hi folks, I recently reinstalled Vista, and I'm having trouble with my 8600M GS - it's currently running on the rubbishy Standard VGA Adapter drivers, and there doesn't seem to be any way to update them - I downloaded the ForceWare version 179.28 suggested by nVidia's website, and it claims that there is no hardware compatible with it on my system; also Windows Update isn't finding drivers for it. I noticed that the setup routine extracted a load of drivers to an NVIDIA folder on my C:\, and I was going to use a Have Disk routine to force the install, but I've no idea which one (of the many there) to use!
Any suggestions as to what the problem may be and how to fix it?
Many thanks.
