I have mentioned this before but thought I would bring it up again. With more and more mobile devices being used, would nvnews be able to create a wap link to the forums? Sure, most devices can surf html sites to a limited sense, but a WAP type would be much faster then html.
just a thought.

WAP? You do know that stands for Wireless Access Point right? :D
I agree, the Blackberry browser isn't the best thing when it comes to surfing t3h NVNEWS. Great idea zoomz!

A special WAP/PDA site would have been an idea a year or two ago, but now with Opera Mobile and Skyfire, the regular site works fine for me.

It su><orz with Opera Mobile on my Berry. Endless scrolling because of everyone's mile long signatures that you have to sift through. A mobile nVNews site/forum would be much better. Come on Mike, get on it already. The people have spoken. :p

Any progress on this? I was with the wife shopping the other day and it took forever to get into any of the subforums on my Berry. It would be really awesome to have a WAP-enabled site for NVNews forums! :D
It may be possible to just install an already written plugin such as this one:

Skyfire ftw. I use it on my BlackJack I with official upgrade to WinMo 6. It's pretty quick in 3g areas.

Okay I will relent. The mobile browser on the bb tour makes surfing nvnews doable on a mobile device. That's what I'm posting from now.

I'm here to reinvest effort into the WAP enabled movement. I know of several users whose posting time would increase exponentially if we had one. Hell, one of the reasons i surf wap.crackberry.com is simply becasue its so convienet with a wap enabled site.
what can we do to make this happen at good ol nvnews?
