Could someone explain what texture sharping does? And can it or should it be used with AF??

Texture Sharpening is kind of AF setting.

That means if you have AF disabled but Texture Sharpening enabled, you have 2x AF.
If you have 2x AF enabled + Texture Sharpening enabled you have a higher AF Setting than 2x which means 4x and so on.

This option was available in Rivatuner for months now.
There is an article @www.3dcenter.de which describes that a little but it is in German.
Maybe you should learn German? :)
Or get a translator hehe.

Anyway i think this feature is pretty nonsense.

Why would they do that! AF runs way to slow for it too be used!!

Umm yeah, i mean if you set texture sharpening and 2x Aniso, why not just check 4x then?

Does combining 8x and this texture sharpening provide even higher levels of aniso?
