GTX 295 or GTX 280

Anyway, after heehawiing a bit more, I have the below as potential cards:

1GB XFX GTX 280 £247 (comes with FarCry2)
2GB XFX HD 4870 X2 £320
1792 Zotac GTX 295 £370 (comes with vantage and Far cry 2)
1gb BFG GTX 285 £285

If it is between them two then I would get the GTX 295,But a single GTX 280 or GTX 285 will do the job on most games unless you have a 30 inch monitor.

Yesterday I discovered that FO3 is the second game in addition to BF2 that has to be played on my 295 in single GPU mode.

I played FO3 for 90 days on a 280 and the performance is the same.

Crysis, and all other games- compared to a 280- is twice as fast as on a 295 in dual GPU Mode. :super::smoking2::headbang:

know the threads dead, but my 295 runs fo3 in SLI mode just fine you have a bug somewhere.
