I am using the open office document writer for my paper, and have a question.
I am supposed to create a header on every page with my last name and page number, ala MLA format, but in open office all the headers on all the pages automatically change to be like one another. ie, on all pages it says "page 1", when i type "page 2" on the second page, the header on the first page and all others says page 2. Quite frustrating.
Also, for whatever reason the spellcheck function is not working in open office, doesnt underline any words that are spelled wrong.
Thanks as always guys.

I'd uninstall it and remove user settings and reinstall. 3.01 is latest stable version yes?

If you want to put the page number in the header, you have to use Insert > Fields > Page Number...

I just installed it and it autocorrects ,Not underlines.
If you do a fresh install and delete any user preferences there's no reason why it shouldn't work.
