I'm getting into watches. I've currently beat the crap out of my everyday watch.

Anyone else a fan of a good watch?

I own a $1200 watch I got for $110 simply because it was a style released back in 2006.

E-Bay FTW!

(and yes it came with authentication)

Had that thrown in for free after winning a British Legion auction, does damn nearly everything.

Great, now if I ever need to know what time it is, I'll just look at the images in this thread. Watch-thread FTW!

I stopped using watches since the time cell phones were invented.

Why does anyone need a designer watch? It's just bling.

Kind of hard to use a mobile without it frying when you are sat on sentry in the middle of a sodding wooded area whilst it's pissing it down. :p

Same :)

Although I like watches and having a nice, classic one would be cool :)

I have never been able to get in the habit of wearing a watch. I've always got a cell phone on me and it's my habitual way of checking the time . . .

Same here and being that I'm generally only interested in what time it is when I'm at work and I'm a developer... my computer tells me what time it is. I really wouldn't mind having a nice watch... I just can't seem to find a good reason to spend the money on one.

I've worn a watch most of my life... I really don't need one, but I'm so used to having one. And they're so cheap to, well, unless you want to get a really fancy one. My current watch my parents got for me as an 8th grade graduation gift... and it still works just fine to this day. Was only a $40 watch too... a Times Ironman. I'll probably keep it till it stops working. :D

I think I've had 4 watches since I was 11.
I still have my first one (its Mickey Mouse and plays 'It's a small world' via button) which was a nice analog one I'm saving for my niece.
My second one corroded since I sweat a lot, my third lasted me 4 years.

Now the one I have was a Christmas present. I just feel like I've gone out without clothes on if my watch isn't on my wrist. I guess wearing one everyday since I was 11 is kinda stuck on me. :D

from where?

Pulp Fiction, Butch's father hid his father's watch up his ass for 2 years while he was a POW. He said he be damned if they'd get their hands on his sons's birthright.

I just feel like I've gone out without clothes on if my watch isn't on my wrist.

Care to take your watch off ma'am? :naughty:

My watch literally has everything built into it. Including a fishfinder and a GPS.

I wanna get one of those Watches where it is also your phone.

I don't need a watch. I just pull down my pants and the length of the shadow casted tells me the time. (nana2)
