Playing 16:9 games like BioShock on a 16:10 monitor causes the HUD to stretch. DOOM 3 also has this issue, as do most widescreen games, except for the properly coded ones.

I had to create a custom 16:9 resolution of 1680X945 to correct this issue, as it was not exposed by my display.

Hopefully NVIDIA will add this resolution to get proper 16:9 for those with 1680X1050 max resolution.

This don't work for me as if I create custom 16:9 resolutions the image is still stretched to full screen.
I just don't understand why PC widescreen is 16:10.

You need to enable NVIDIA Fixed Pixel Aspect Ratio.
