In the next month or so, I'm going to buy either a 42" TV (1080p), or a larger monitor. What do you suggest?

What kind TV do you have right now? Considering the 2408WFP for a monitor, I'd probably say TV, though if you already have a 42" . . . . well. . . .

I'd get the TV...you have a sweet 2408WFP, which is perfect for the PC. If you go larger then you want to upgrade your PC because you'll have run games beyond 1920x1200. I dunno what the 30" LCD native res is. 2560?

Anyway, Doc, get the TV and hook up your PS3/Blu Ray.

I have a 37" Vizio that does 1080i. I want a true 1080p.

Yea...I'm leaning towards the tv as well. I just wanted to get others opinion on this. ;)

Ever thought about going with a video projector?

From what I've heard, the projector would cause too much ghosting to game on.

When I saw the thread title all I could thing of was 'yes you do'.

I voted 42" TV/Monitor. I use one as my main monitor, it ROCKS.

Also have 24" monitor on my other PC and it has a beautiful picture but the 42" running 1080p is simply awesome, picture wise and everything.

don't waste time with 30inch monitors, you will need triple-sli or more to run games decently on it
