It seems low power 3d modes are back with this driver and gt200 cards. I noticed some annoying stuttering in ArmA too, probably due to just that.

Seems about the same to the quadro driver in most places, except is it me the GeForce set doesn't like Far Cry 2?

Edit - seems im not the only one. http://www.beforedark.co.uk/cms/reviews/14-drivers/146-nvidia-whql-18208-release-analysis-and-review

Let me test that... brb.

EDIT: nothing strange to report, used 1920 1200 2xAA ultra details with my EVGA GTX260 SSC and logged temps/coreclocks in case performance profiling failed. Fps varied between 28 and 54, no stuttering and clocks remained at max all the time, at least according to the log.

In reading that article, and reading about the FC2 stutters, im having the exact same issues but in UT3, not FC2 (dont have it installed) Wondering if other people are having UT3 stutters with this driver?

UT3 works as it should for me, no strange behaviour during gaming.

However after installing PATCH 2.0, I noticed that when joining a network game (from the menu, ready button) the game has slow fps for 0,5 second or so? Also noticed the same effect the other day, I was doing some testing UT3 locally, answered phone (pushed esc to get in menu/pause screen) and when I came back and returned to the game, it had low fps for 0,5 seconds or so after exiting the in-game menu screen. My friend noticed the same thing after the patch, so I'm guessing it's not a driver related issue, rather application doing something with textures.
