Looks blurry... I mean the screen itself, like you out it in Photoshop and hit the blur filter acouple times...

Let me know when this is somewhere other than fileplanet.

LOL, 200fps - yeah I'd say it's at least well optimized (the 360 version is 30). Dunno if there's much game to be had here though, seems far too simplistic. No GoW that's for sure.

Fun game... has some major annoyances though. Mostly, the aiming is not PC quality, i.e. you have a large reticule and bullets go anywhere within it, rather than where you aim... a lot of time enemies are in cover and I can easily pinpoint a shoulder or head with my mouse, but the game counts it as a miss. I assume this is because they want you to bend bullets. Also, the game has no display options to speak of other than resolution.

Still... fun game. I enjoyed it, and will get it for $20 or so when it reaches that price.

this demo any good?

Demo sucks. The tutorial is better than the demo. No AA from what I can see and the menus are bugged as I had a hard time getting the res to change. Overall not impressed. Heard the game was very short. No GOW for sure, not even a a decent Stranglehold from the demo.

I bought it today (on PS3, but whatever)... the game is fun, but the rumors of it being very short are true... I beat it on Assassin (medium difficulty, but it is the highest you can do on your first playthrough) in just under 4 hours. The game is fun, and I am replaying now on The Killer difficulty (hard) and am almost done again, and I just bought the game today at noon lol.

If you are the kind of person to play through a game once and never play it again, I would definitely not recommend this one until it gets down to around 20 bucks... I personally am trying to unlock everything, so I don't mind much.

My biggest gripe is the cutscenes. 99% of them look like complete garbage. The game itself looks decent enough (not great), but the cutscenes are terrible... I don't understand why the graphics in game are better than in the cutscenes, but that is how it is here. And it is also annoying the way I try so hard to skip them, but sometimes it takes forever to even be able to skip them.

4 hours?!

Yup... I kept hearing it was short... didn't expect it to be quite this short... but like I said... I can see myself playing through it a few more times at least... almost done with The Killer, then I will have Close Combat mode (basically the story but you have to melee kill a certain number of enemies before advancing to the next area)... and I hear there is a time attack mode, and probably more modes.

Are the cutscenes actual recorded video of in-game footage, in like DivX format or Bink? Games like Gears of War and Serious Sam 2 use this kind of technique. With SS2 in particular, it made the cutscenes look way worse than when you're playing it.

Something like Lost Planet on the other hand uses 100% in-game cutscenes that aren't pre-recorded into video files, but rendered real-time. Doing it that way makes them look as good as they can with no loss of quality.

Yeah they are prerecorded with ingame assets as far as I can tell... the quality is so terrible, I don't know why they would have let it go into release lol. Other than that and the length, it is a good game.

Yeah, a lot of console games do that, I guess to save space they compress them to hell and back.

I bought the Full Version before reading here... I sure hope it's not 4 hours :( cost me just under $80.

Seems pretty good so far, for a movie tie in game.
