Unlike Steam, GOG.com's releases are not easily predictable because they're all old games. Given that they work on each game to make it Vista compatable and remove all DRM, and sell them for cheap, what comes out on GOG is interesting even to people who own these games already.

I figured it was time to make an official thread which notes the new releases on GOG as they come out, so you don't have to check the site everday (like I do).

Whoever sees it first, just post the new game(s) that were released and what they cost. We can also use the thread for discussion on which classics are worth buying.

Today's releases:

Cannon Fodder - $5.99
Warlords Battlecry 3 - $5.99
Alien Nations - $5.99

As far as classics that are worth buying, Shogo is on there. Once I get my desktop machine built when my step-up GTX 295 gets here, I can't wait to try it out in Vista. Same goes for TOCA Race Driver 3. I'll probably pick that up so I can use the Road America mod.

Hopefully they'll bring Carmageddon 2 someday.

Interesting, though not really OLD titles, as I picture the site. Most of those are on Steam and I'd rather get them there.

That said, cool news.

In some ways... and vice versa.

For some reason GOG games often have incompatabilities with Steam's overlay, which means I have to run them outside Steam and lose community features, which sucks. For that reason alone I would rather have the Steam versions.

Today's releases:

Teenagent - Free
Septerra Core - $5.99

Septerra is, according to IGN, (http://pc.ign.com/articles/153/153129p1.html) an amazing JRPG in the vein of Final Fantasy which is only on PC (and no one played).

Earth 2150 is a great strategy game, but very complex, very high learning curve

I bought (and still own) Septerra Core when it originally released. Loved it. :)

Today's new release is Jagged Alliance 2, which I never played, for only $5.99.

There is also a sale on all three Fallout games, 20% off for the whole week.

Racing games are 50% off this weekend. Link (http://www.gog.com/en/page/racing_weekend/)

1sane - $4.99
Flatout - $2.99
TOCA Race Driver 3 - $4.99

Apparently Race Driver 3 is being removed from the GOG catalog soon, so this is the last chance to pick it up.

They also released Rainbow Six (http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/tom_clancys_rainbow_six) for $10, modded to work perfectly in XP and Vista, supposedly.

Hell yes, Tex Murphy comes to GoG!

Under a Killing Moon is up now, which was a game I was obsessed with when I was 15 or so.

I finished Under a Killing Moon tonight... my gaming PC is under the weather so I was looking for something to play on my girl's laptop while she sleeps (shhh!).

It was as great an experience as I had when it came out honestly... still awesome. I just bought Pandora Directive and it's downloading. GOG seems to be in a slump lately, but I love it anyway for the Tex Murphy games.

I take it Divine Divinity is worth $6?
