Honestly, we have a really good batch of rookies this year. O.J. Mayo, Russel Westbrook, Kevin Love, Brook Lopez, Mark Gasol, etc. All are going to be fantastic NBA stars.

Stick a fork in Beasley. This guy is a loser. Not saying he won't become better, but so far he's a disappointment. And lets not even start on Greg Oden.

I am really impressed with Derrick Rose. He has some really good talent. I' looking forward to watching him grow (as a player) on the court.

EDIT: Speaking of MVP, I would not be terribly disappointed if D-Wade got that award. He's really stepped up his game and made Miami a real contender.

I agree with this.

Not sure about agreeing with James coming 2nd in the Defensive player of the year. I have to go with Chris Paul.

MVP I think will be James, Kobe, Wade. I do feel bad for Dwight but he'll probably come 4th.

For COY, I am hoping that Jerry Sloan gets it. :(

He's NEVER won and he's been one of the most consistent coaches ever. Phil Jackson also only has 1 even with all his greatness.

James has really stepped up his game on the defensive end this year. Same with Dwight Howard. I think you'll be surprised. James will get 2nd or 3rd. I doubt he wins it as Dwight Howard has it in the bag.

He doesn't get called for bodying up on people. Remember how he sent Jason Richardson flying on his "block" from behind, and yet no call. Chris Paul straight up picks people's pockets, if he doesn't finish 2nd at least, he's being robbed (oh the irony).

Jerry Sloan is having one of his worst seasons in a while. He doesn't deserve it at all.

Sure he is. Given that he didn't have Carlos Boozer most of the season and has been playing a younger team than he typically does, I am sure most of the other coaches in the league would KILL to have a bad season like he is.

His team is a few games out of 3rd in the West.

That's basically it, IMO
Well, there is basically no other way to go, I mean Rose has Rookie of the year in the bag, and Lebron has MVP sealed also. No more need be said.

Edit, I looked at what other people said and its funny how you said Howard had it in the bag
