I found an extra S-Video Cable laying around today so I thought I'd finally use the TV OUT thing on my Graphics Card.

I plugged in the S-Video cable into my tv and into my card, went to advanced setting, and attempted to select TV. However TV was not available to be selected.

Am I doing something wrong here? I really need some help. Thanks so much in advance...

What drivers are you using?

Driver sets past 41.09 break TV out on a lot of older nVidia cards, usually cards that have the conexant BT series of TV chips on them.

The card auto-senses for a TV and if it doesn't think one is present, it won't give you the option to do TV-out. Make sure your TV is on and set to display S-Video before trying opening the card display properties to activate TV-out.

If it still doesn't work, you can try using TV Tool (http://tvtool.info/) to force the TV-out on.
