I gotta say, Michigan impressed me last night. They got stops when they needed and made the free-throws. Good effort.

Should be interesting... Especially since it's going to be local.

Heh, I just assumed it was going to be at the Palace since it was a basketball game. Apparently it's going to be at Ford Field. They're going to have enough room for floor seats. Should be able to pack like 70,000 people in there then.

I just hope everyone is ready for the crappy weather outside. The weather people are claiming at least 5" of sleet/snow for tomorrow.

Heh, they had 35 minutes to solve that puzzle. :headexplode:

What a horrible game. Just goes to show how terrible college basketball defense really is.

Good job UNC though. They have 3-4 solid future NBA players on that team.

That was really awful, especially after some of the earlier games in the tournament were so good. Michigan State totally let the pressure of playing "at home" get to them and they were incredibly sloppy with the ball that whole game. If you take away some of the points off turnovers it might have been a decent game, but 21 turnovers or whatever they had makes for a really ugly game. :thumbdwn:

Well I wanted Michigan State to win only because I am from Michigan. UNC beat MI State by 35 points on Dec 3, 2008. So I knew there was no chance for them to win last night. :o

How did your brackets go guys?
my best is 96.51% I had UNC vs. Conn 101-94. I'm a champ 1400 points
This one I just guessed randomly for the most part

I don't think it was playing at home that was bothering them as much as they got embarrassed by the whoppin from Carolina earlier in the season. I was disappointing in the game as well, but was still happy they won it. There were times I thought that they were intentionally throwing the game.

I'm mostly disappointed because you could tell the crowd was waiting to explode, but there just wasn't anything to cheer about. If the game had been somewhat close it could have been seriously intense.
