You guys thought I was crazy for saying Lebron James is number 2 candidate for Defensive Player of the Year, right behind Dwight Howard. http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=131044

You weren't crazy for listing Lebron. But I stand by Chris Paul. I think he's just being under-rated this year, like Dwayne, because his team doesn't have as many wins as the other guys.

Hell KG is in there and he missed about a third of the season.

I hope Dallas doesn't play Portland in the playoffs... they're about the only team that had our number this year.

LeBron is a great defensive player, but I think Kobe should be in the top 5 as well.

It's easy to be a great defensive player when you get called for about 1 foul every game.

Heck, I watched when he went through a series of about 5 or 6 games with maybe 3 fouls TOTAL.

Protected much? Even Michael Jordan was called for more fouls (and he was a superior defensive player all around) than Lebron.

If they really do go ahead and amend the traveling rules to suit Lebron's game, I will officially have lost all faith in the NBA.
