I recently purchased this laptop My Laptop (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00007M5VQ/102-1247829-5561748?v=glance&s=pc&vi=tech-data) and while it IS a fine machine, it seems to be lacking in the graphics dept. I'd like to upgrade from the IGP 320M that's in it to even a mobility 7000. Is an upgrade here even possible? I'm new to the laptop scene. :)

No, I'm afraid not.

ATi are making their laptop chips upgradeable now (their so-called FlexFit technology), but you won't be able to with that particular chipset I'm afraid. :(

Alrighty then. I saw that Dell had replacement video cards on eBay so I thought that I might be able to swap out mine for something with a little more kick. Maybe I should sell this one and get a dell. haha :) Thanks

Yeah, Dell were one of the first companies to actually implement the technology, in their Inspiron 8200 laptops and the like.
